When you have a need to stop collecting data for a given period of time, you can turn the survey off, i.e., set it to Inactive. When you turn a survey off the collected data remains accessible and you may turn the survey back on again at any time.
A survey that collects customer feedback on seasonal merchandise or services, annual promotions, or the introduction of a new product line. You can turn this survey off to preserve the collected data for future planning and comparison reports, and then activate the survey for the next event or season.
Turning a Survey Off
On the Feedback Dashboard, click the Edit icon () for the survey project. The Create/Edit Survey page displays.
Click the Publish tab. The Publish Your Project displays.
Click the toggle switch This project is to the OFF position.
In the section Step 1: Publish to Staging, click Publish. When the process completes, Publish becomes enabled in the section Step 2: Publish to Production.
Click Publish in Step 2: Publish to Production.
Verify that the survey is no longer accessible from your web site.
